What is ECWCS Gore Parka? ECWCS is a combat clothing system developed by the U.S. military, inspired by the layering of outdoor clothing, that responds to various climates by combining parkas, innerwear, and liners, etc. The first generation was created in 1985.
This item is designed based on the Gore Parka, a later model of the first generation that was introduced in the 1990s.
Reproduction of period detailsThe hood with brim can be adjusted with a drawcord. The neck is set slightly higher, even on windy days.
The front has a windproof double-zip and snap button closure. Loops for attaching rank insignia and other items are subtly accented.
