Lightweight and Soft Sashiko FabricThe fabric uses the brand's original 11oz sashiko fabric with a moderate texture. Unlike typical heavy and stiff sashiko fabric, it is light and soft, making it easy to wear daily.
Additionally, it is dyed with the same rope dyeing method as denim, allowing you to enjoy the aging process similar to denim.

- While machine washing sashiko fabric is possible, it is recommended to wash this product separately.
What is Sashiko?A traditional Japanese stitching technique used to reinforce and insulate clothing. In the Tohoku region during the Edo period, cotton threads were used to fill the gaps in hemp fabric to withstand the cold.
During that time in Edo, there were many fires, and sashiko fabric was used as "firefighter clothing" to protect against sparks. Due to its durability and impact resistance, it is also used in judo and kendo uniforms.
Simple DesignThe front features a zipper fly and the waist has a drawstring for adjustable fit. With belt loops, you can also use a belt if desired.
Both sides have easy-to-reach slash pockets, and there are single-welt pockets on the hips.
With tucks on the front and ample room around the hips and thighs, it offers a relaxed fit. Tapered for a sleek look without feeling bulky.
