Reproduction of the strength mil-spec
The material is a reproduction of the material specified for the US Army "PARKA,SHELL-M1951". It was used as a light and strong material to be worn over a jacket in the mil-spec winter clothing called Fishtail Parka and Mod Parka.

The warp is made from 30 count cotton and the weft from 100D nylon, interwoven to create a high density finish. The natural texture of cotton is mixed with the advantages of light and functional nylon. It has a cool, crisp feel and is soft but strong.
It also has a special sheen, fluffiness and fading over time, which makes it worth wearing.
