Its whiteness, strength of fibre, elegant lustre and soft texture make it a highly regarded cotton, along with Xinjiang, Suvin and Supima.
High-gauge but not transparent
High-gauge, 50-count twin yarn, which is considered to be one of the finest yarn weights (count) used. It is a high gauge yarn, 50 count twisted yarn, which is finer than normal, but it is well knotted so that it does not show through, especially in light colours such as white.
