Densely woven, silky smooth dump fabric As summer approaches, we miss the cool feeling of linen. This time, we introduce a B.D. shirt made of "dump fabric", which is a blend of cotton and linen.
Dump fabric is a member of the "broad" and "typewriter" fabrics, and is characterized by its smooth and smooth texture, which is made by weaving fine yarns in high density. Generally speaking, the yarn used is "40 count dump fabric", although the yarn after 60 count (the smaller the number, the thicker the yarn) is called typewriter.
The thickness of the yarn of this count "properly" conveys the texture of the linen nep, and the fabric is "exquisite" in its thinness and elasticity.
Both functional and comfortable The fabric is made in Nishiwaki City, Hyogo Prefecture, famous for its Banshu weaving. We want you to feel the good texture, functionality and comfort of this blend of linen's "dry touch" and cotton's "soft touch".
An old favourite classic detail The "gusset" is a detail to prevent ripping, with a rolled seam on both sides, a 4mm triple rolled seam at the hem and a triangular fabric. The breast pocket is a classic 13x11 size. The back has box pleats.
Round collar for a naturally elegant lookThe collar, an important feature of button-down shirts, is designed to stand up nicely. The shape and the position of the buttons have been adjusted to the millimetre to give a three-dimensional appearance. The buttons are made of high quality Japanese shell buttons which are popular all over the world. It is a beautiful silhouette that can only be achieved by handwriting.
Careful sewing by skilled craftsmen A piece sewn in one of Japan's leading factories in Nagasaki Prefecture, which has been in business for 28 years and is made up entirely of skilled Japanese craftsmen. Each garment is sewn by hand by a single person, with no distortions. A shirt that can be worn on its own and still be attractive" is a great gift.
