The fabric used is "sliver knit" by Beccari, Italy. Sliver knit refers to knitwear knitted using a special process in which the fibers are knitted as they are, rather than made into yarn from wool or other woolen cotton bundles and then woven.

The knit has a soft, fluffy texture and volume due to the large amount of air it contains, as well as high heat-retaining properties. It is not too thick nor too thin, but just the right thickness to keep you warm, and its lightweight feel makes it easy to move around in, even when layered.
