Having worked with rain gear at a major home improvement center, Tsuchiya became fascinated by the craftsmanship, functionality, and elegant forms of umbrellas from various manufacturers. After joining "Waterfront" in 2019, he became responsible for procurement and store layout design, while also being recognized as the world's first "Umbrella Sommelier," actively promoting the allure of umbrellas.











The umbrella fabric is made of polyester with water-repellent coating. It features UV cut functionality, blocking out UV rays that shine year-round, making it suitable for use in both sunny and rainy weather.

Additionally, the logo with reflector function enhances visibility, especially in high-traffic areas or at night.








Resistant to Strong Winds, Lightweight

Eight parent bones specification suitable for beautiful silhouette of the umbrella. The use of the fiber-reinforced plastic FRP* as the material reduces the number of bones to eight and realizes a lightweight design.

The umbrella ribs are designed with 8 ribs to achieve a beautiful silhouette. Using Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) material for the bones reduces weight while maintaining durability.
