Banshuori is a traditional cotton fabric that has been used for over 200 years in the Banshu area (Kita-Harima) centered on Nishiwaki City, Hyogo Prefecture. The characteristic feature of Banshu-ori is that the threads are dyed first and then woven, and by carefully calculating the arrangement of the dyed threads, various patterns can be expressed through weaving.
