The PRAS sneaker has a reputation for being a sneaker you can wear for many years. The secret is the sneaker body. The secret is the durability created by the "vulcanizing method" of laminating the sneaker body and sole.

"Vulcanizing method" means that the upper and sole, which are formed by hand, are placed in a kiln called a vulcanizing can, where heat and pressure are applied at 120°C for 70 minutes. The vulcanization process is a process in which the rubber is heated and pressurized for 70 minutes at 120°C. This causes a chemical reaction between the sulfur in the raw rubber and the vulcanized rubber, and the rubber returns to its original shape even when force is applied. The sneakers made using this process are durable and the soles do not easily peel off or lose their shape, providing a long-lasting, comfortable fit.


Made by hand
The upper and sole are carefully molded by craftsmen. The upper is hung along the last of the foot shape, the sole is attached, and rubber tape is wrapped around it. Original Kojima canvas
The upper is made of Kojima canvas, which is produced in Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture. PRAS's original canvas is made of warp 10 twin threads and weft 10 twin threads with uneven nep threads, and the density of the warp and weft threads is slightly reduced to 12 oz.
