R.E. specializes in jackets, but for the past few years we have been looking for a jacket that can be worn comfortably over a t-shirt in mid-summer as well as in early spring. This jacket is made from a new cotton-nylon material with a crisp texture and a washed finish that gives it a fine wrinkled look. It is unlined, but has the visual of a solid jacket, not a slender cardigan, yet it is thin, light, strong, water repellent and stain resistant. It's also quite small and light, making it ideal for business trips, outdoor activities and dressing up after the gym.

New material jackets for a comfortable spring and summer
Amongst R.E.'s jacket items, the last few years have seen a rise in the number of items made in Japan. For the past few years, we have been looking for a jacket that can be worn comfortably over a T-shirt in mid-summer, as well as in early spring when the weather is more pleasant. This jacket is made from a new cotton-nylon fabric with a crisp texture and a washed finish that gives it a fine, crinkled look.
Classy looking, yet functional and versatile
It's a single piece, unlined, but not as slender as a cardigan, with the visual of a solid jacket, yet thin, light and strong, water repellent and good against dirt.
It's quite small and light, making it ideal for business trips, travel, outdoor activities and dressing up after the gym.

Thin but tough and durable cotton-nylon
Cotton-nylon fabric made by a Japanese fabric manufacturer specialising in the production of woven fabrics. The cotton-nylon blend is often used for mountain parkas, as the cotton absorbs water from rain and fills the gaps between the fabric and the nylon, making it stronger and more water-repellent, as well as more windproof.
This fabric is made with a very fine yarn, which makes it even stronger, more durable and less prone to ageing. The fabric has a crispy texture, is thin but strong and durable, washable and suitable for many occasions.
Washer treatment
Washer treatment is the process of wrinkling a fabric. The name "washer" is derived from the fact that it gives the fabric the wrinkled look of an unwashed fabric. The elegant wrinkles and puckering give the garment an air of sophistication and maturity.

A versatile item for both casual and formal wear
Slightly slimmer and more formal. The silhouette is slightly slender, with a sharp peaked lapel for a clean look. The length of the dress is well balanced and can be worn over a cut and sewn dress or elegantly with a shirt. It has a classic three-button design with a natural nut and is suitable for both casual and formal wear.

Classic flap pockets on both sides. One inside pocket on the back left side of the chest. Both coverall and tailored elements are incorporated to give you a wide range of styling options.
