Care for the amount of downAurora Down uses 150 g, but this special order model uses 140 g. The fire fabric is stiffer than Aurora Tex, so there is a difference in down puffiness. 140 g provides moderate puffiness and the same heat retention. The 140g weight provides a moderate fullness and similar warmth retention. By fine-tuning the amount of down, NANGA has achieved a good balance of appearance and warmth retention.
Sizing that affects warmth retentionThe Aurora Down Jacket has been renewed in a slightly larger size, but the special order model is a "Japanese size". The more fitted the size is, the greater the heat retention, so choosing the right size for your body is important.
The Japanese size, which is not too large, is adopted to maximize warmth retention. For this reason, we offer seven sizes to meet the needs of our customers.
