It is said that the first denim fabric made in Japan was made by modifying the loom of Bitchu Kokuraori in Ibara City, Okayama Prefecture. At that time, the rope dyeing technique was not so good, and the yarn count and the balance of warp and weft yarns were far different from the modern technique, but the atmosphere was exceptional.
