The tastefulness of the old loom
This fabric is made from "HDCS (super dense jersey slub cotton)". It is a high-density cotton produced by skilled craftsmen using an old-style loom inherited from the early post-war period.

It is knitted slowly, about 1/3 of the speed of a normal cotton fabric. It is knitted without gaps, which gives the fabric its stiffness and weight.
In addition, the slub yarns are drawn together during the knitting process to give the fabric an uneven, washed look.
The difference in upbringing makes for gentleness
The material is high quality US organic cotton. We only use cotton that has been carefully grown without resorting to chemical agents. This difference in growing and manufacturing results in a difference in softness when the garment is finally made. The organic cotton is spun into slub yarns at our spinning mills in Japan.
