The selvic is used on the gusset of the shirt to accentuate it. Selvic is used in many places on vintage shirts because it does not fray. This work shirt has a simple design and a beautiful silhouette. The chambray fabric is light and smooth, ideal for spring and summer. The more you wash it, the more it puckers and the more the fabric ages. The collar is slightly smaller than the rest of the shirt, so that it can be layered. The main stitching is double-stitched. The double pockets without flaps are also a detail of that time, and the buttons are plate buttons, which were common in the 40s and 50s.
