The collarless design allows you to wear it like a jacket. It's not often that we see a cardigan with a zip front, but this one has a crew neck. This cardigan can be worn as a short jacket or layered with shirts and cut and sewn garments for a fresh look.
The fabric is knitted on a special circular knitting machine
Sliver knit, the pride and joy of ARDITES, a prestigious textile manufacturer in Tuscany, Italy. Sliver knit differs from normal knitwear in that the raw material is made from a fluffy cotton-like rope, which is then carefully knitted on a special circular knitting machine called a sliver knitting machine.
You won't believe how lightweight it is
The fluffy material is knitted without twisted yarns, which means that there is plenty of air between the fibres, creating warmth and keeping out the cold. The result is a warm and cosy garment that keeps your body heat in. It is also called "Airy Wool" because of its lightness, which you would not expect from its heavy, bulky and thick appearance.
